Over the course of any given day we refer to countless GM bulletins and resources to provide support, justification, clarification, and resolution for warranty related issues. Many of these resources reside either in an electronic folder on my desktop or in print format on my desk. As the documents are updated, the predecessor is archived from the resource folder and the new document is added. These tools, in their most up to date format, are referred to daily, providing support, clarification, and resolution.   

Not everyone is familiar with critical warranty related bulletins or how to find them in SI. The following are a few of the many warranty related tools and resources that we refer to every day!

While not all inclusive, this list does provide a solid warranty resource base. 

With the bulletin number you are easily able to pull the most recent version from Service Information in GlobalConnect. From SI, select the   binocular icon to find a document by its ID, bulletin or campaign # in number search. Enter the bulletin/campaign number in the search field (If you have a document ID number, enter it in the document ID search field).

Tip: When entering a bulletin number it is not necessary to enter the hyphens separating the numbers or the letter at the end of the bulletin number. Global will provide the latest bulletin associated with the bulletin number searched (e.g. enter 040089015 to receive result 04-00-89-015Q). 

Through the Warranty Administration Program and monthly Warranty News we report the latest policy updates/changes associated with bulletin revisions.
