Parts and failure codes
1. Once a part number or labor operation number has been entered,
the system automatically populates the cost. Confirm these totals
with the amounts on your business systems printout on the repair
order, they should equal each other, if they do not, there may
be a business system update that needs to be performed. In the
event that the claim was submitted and paid with updated pricing,
make note on the schedule for the differences.
2. Enter the first letter or number of the failure code until
the appropriate code is listed to save time in selecting from
the drop down menu. Review J&L’s Failure Code Quick
