Warranty Pros was founded in 1977 when Joe Grant, founder and
Chairman of the Board of Directors, recognized a need to educate
and assist dealers in the area of warranty claims reimbursement.
Joe graduated from General Motors Institute (GMI) with a Mechanical
Engineering degree, then
worked for General Motors as a District Service and Parts
Manager for nine years. While in the field, Joe noticed dealers missing several thousands of dollars that they deserved from the manufacturers for repair work performed on vehicles under factory warranty. He started J&L Warranty Pros™ to educate and assist dealers in the area of warranty claim reimbursement.
Since 1977, a host of warranty related products and services have been developed to assist new vehicle dealerships as well as manufacturers.
